The New Smyrna Beach Farmers Market is a great way to shop and support local, whether you’re a visitor or local. You’ll find a variety of vendors ranging from fresh produce and baked goods, to artisanal products and prepared foods. The New Smyrna Beach Market is held every Saturday from 7:30am – 12:30pm. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
NSB Plein Air Paint Out

Discover nature through art at the NSB Plein Air Paint Out, celebrating the uniqueness of the NSB community. “En plein air” in French means in the open air and during this five-day festival, you’ll find talented artists scattered around New Smyrna Beach painting outdoors. As you spot these artists, you’re encouraged to interact with them and learn more about the pieces they are painting. Funds raised will go to two local nonprofits, the Marine Discovery Center and Artists’ Workshop of New Smyrna Beach.
New Smyrna Beach Flamingo Follies Holiday Art Show

Kickstart the holiday season at New Smyrna Beach Flamingo Follies. Flagler Avenue will shut down for a weekend of holiday shopping. Artists and crafters from around the state will display their work and one-of-a-kind gifts perfect for loved ones. Shop and then dine at one of Flagler’s many restaurants for a day of fun. The art show will take place on November 9th from 9am – 5pm and November 10th from 9am – 4pm. Admission is free.
Festival of the Arts

Festival of the Arts is a beloved New Smyrna Beach event. Going into its 49th year, Festival of the Arts is a celebration of over 200 talented artists. This free event attracts over 53,000 visitors to Downtown New Smyrna Beach each year, where festival-goers enjoy art created in several different mediums, including ceramics, digital art, drawing and graphics, fine crafts, and more. Food trucks, live entertainment, face painting, and a complimentary photo booth will be available.

Held every spring, the New Smyrna Beach Food Festival invites foodies from all over to indulge in the best of the best from New Smyrna Beach restaurants. Dig in as restaurants will offer sample sizes of their popular dishes from $5-$8 and compete for the title of “Best on the Beach.” There will also be live entertainment, local artisans and vendors, sponsor displays, and exhibits.
Smyrna Jazz Festival

The New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival is one of Central Florida’s premier music festivals. Smyrna Jazz Festival started in 2001 as a way to attract more traffic to local businesses. Today, the festival thrives, bringing accomplished musicians and singers to New Smyrna for a weekend of good tunes, dancing, and great times. All concerts are free and held indoors and outdoors throughout New Smyrna.
Red, White, and Blue Festival

Kick off the holiday weekend and celebrate July 4th in New Smyrna Beach at the Red, White and Blue Festival! This 3-day free music festival highlights all kinds of music genres and includes over 40 free shows at various locations along Flagler Avenue. Some locations are age 21 and up. All shows have free admission. 4,000 expected.
New Smyrna Beach Shrimp & Seafood Festival

Seafood lovers, this is an event you don’t want to miss! Stroll down Flagler Avenue as you sample seafood dishes from local restaurants at the New Smyrna Beach Shrimp & Seafood Festival. Restaurants will be vying for the title of “Best on the Beach” in four categories – shrimp, shellfish, fish, and specialty seafood. Admission is free and samplers range from $5-$8. There will also be craft vendors, entertainment, and sponsor/community booths.
